Enhancing Classroom Instruction through e-Books:

As announced at HI-TEC 2011, OP-TEC is conducting a webinar entitled "Enhancing Classroom Instruction through e-books." This webinar demonstrates strategies for integrating e-book features into the learning process. Instructors see examples of how e-book videos and applets can be used as instructional aides for adding more relevance and interest to classroom instruction.

Demonstrations focus on techniques for using e-book features to enhance classroom teaching, tutoring sessions, homework assignments and math remediation. The webinar also provides examples of assessment that use the e-book features in both group and individual activities.

OP-TEC's e-book Fundamentals of Light and Lasers is the focus of this webinar. However, participants do not need an in-depth understanding of photonics to follow the presentation. Instructional and assessment strategies are the main emphasis.
